MIKE RITTER
The Tribune
"Close Enough," "Senior Care," "Just a Correction"
"The entry showed draftsmanship that is crisp, deft and assured, and the themes are presented economically and forcefully."
STEVE BENSON
The Arizona Republic
"Kosovo," "Welcome Back, Students," "Mars Polar Lander"
"The draftmanship is MacNelly-derivative, but that's not a criticism when it's executed this well. The ideas are forceful and well-focused."
DAVID FITZSIMMONS
Arizona Daily Star
"Gap"
"A simple, powerful stroke on a vital national issue, while using an image with a particularly Arizonan twist. The Kliban influence is evident in the draftsmanship but, again, that's not a bad thing."
