Judge: Steve Giegerich, Asbury Park Press
Giegerich, a 1998 Pulitzer finalist for feature writing, has been a reporter and feature writer for the Asbury Park Press for 16 years. His non-fiction book, "Body of Knowledge," about four med students and a cadaver, will be published next year by Scribner & Sons.
